Overview
-
It’s Christmas below stairs at Pemberley, where secrets are stirring, scandal is knocking, and the servants might just save the day. This festive sequel to Pride and Prejudice gives us a peek behind the curtain—and it’s just as juicy as upstairs!
Mrs. Reynolds
The longtime housekeeper of Pemberley. Fiercely loyal, wonderfully practical, and maybe the only one who can keep this house—and its secrets—from falling into chaos. Think Mrs. Hughes with a touch of sass.
Brian
A bright, earnest footman with an inventor’s mind and a heart of gold. His dreams may be bigger than his station, but he’s got ambition, charm, and more than a passing interest in Cassie.
Cassie
A new maid with a sharp tongue, a strong will, and zero tolerance for nonsense (especially from men like Wickham). She’s got a past, a backbone, and a growing bond with Brian.
Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy
Yes, that Mr. Darcy—older, wiser, and still a bit stiff. He’s the master of the house, trying to balance justice, honor, and family as unexpected guests threaten the peace of his holiday season.
Elizabeth Darcy
As warm and witty as ever, Elizabeth is now the lady of Pemberley. She’s the beating heart of the household—kind, curious, and very much her own woman. Still madly in love with Darcy, still allergic to nonsense.
Lydia Wickham
The youngest Bennet sister, still delightfully dramatic and totally unaware that she might be the problem. She arrives at Pemberley with a flair for the theatrical—and a very inconvenient husband.
George Wickham
He’s back. The charming scoundrel you love to hate. Wickham’s unexpected arrival downstairs brings tension, temptation, and the ghosts of past mistakes. Let’s just say… nobody invited him.
-
Step into the downstairs world of Pemberley during the holiday season in this delightful companion piece to Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley. While the Darcys and their guests enjoy the festivities upstairs, the servants below stairs are bustling with preparations.
Mrs. Reynolds, the steadfast housekeeper, oversees the holiday arrangements with the help of Brian, a footman with a penchant for inventions, and Cassie, a new maid eager to prove herself. The household's routine is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of George Wickham—Lydia's scandalous husband and Mr. Darcy's long-time adversary—who has been explicitly banned from the estate.
As secrets are unveiled and tensions rise, the staff must navigate personal dilemmas and class boundaries to maintain harmony during the season of goodwill. The Wickhams offers a fresh perspective on Austen's beloved characters, exploring themes of forgiveness, redemption, and the true spirit of Christmas.
