Attending a Show FAQs

  • All of our evening shows begin at 7:30pm and all of our matinees begin at 2:00pm.

When you arrive depends on your comfort level. The Von Braun Center where our shows take place is often very busy so we recommend leaving extra time for parking and getting in to the venue.

We ask that you are seated by the scheduled show time.

  • We do not allow photography or filming during any of our performances.

  • The Von Braun Center does not allow outside food or drink.

We do have concessions for sale in the Playhouse lobby, which you are welcome to take in the theatre.

  • There is no specific dress code for Theatre Huntsville performances.

Many of our guests enjoy dressing up to go to the theatre, so you will see people wearing everything from jeans and t-shirts to formal wear.

  • It will depend on the show and be at the discretion of the House Manager. Typically they will wait for a scene break to seat you so as not to disturb the actors or other patrons.

We will get you seated as soon as possible. To prevent missing any of the show, we recommend leaving extra time for parking.

  • Unless otherwise noted, we request that children under five, including babies in arms, are not brought to the theatre.

Everyone entering the theatre must have a ticket, regardless of age, and children must be seated with an adult.

  • Our shows are performed at the Von Braun Center Playhouse in downtown Huntsville.
