Are you an aspiring seamstress and costumier? Got a sewing machine sitting around and want to build your skills to help with local theater costuming? We’ve got the perfect workshop for you!
Stephanie Hyatt, Theatre Huntsville's costumer for our Pemberley plays, will teach a 4-week workshop where you will help create costumes for this season's The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley.
October 12th Focus: Learn about sizing for men's garments. Cut and construct a men's vest.
In the workshop series you will learn how to:
Size and cut a pattern
Construct a period dress
Insert a zipper
Create button holes
Finish garments with hems and trim
Workshop dates - participants are asked to attend all 4 workshops in the series:

What to Bring:
Sewing machine (if you have one)
Don’t have a sewing machine? Email us about borrowing one.
